World Bank’s MHEWS project team visit at DOST-PAGASA
We were delighted to welcome the project team of the World Bank’s Gap Analysis and Investment Roadmap for a People-Centered Multi-Hazard Early Warning System (MHEWS) in the Philippines during a courtesy visit to the DOST-PAGASA Administrator’s Office.
The meeting provided a valuable opportunity to exchange insights on advancing a people-centered, multi-hazard early warning system and strengthening collaboration in support of disaster risk reduction and resilience-building efforts in the country. The engagement concluded with a guided tour of key facilities, including the PAGASA Weather and Flood Forecasting Center, reinforcing a shared commitment to enhancing early warning services for communities across the Philippines.
