BUILDING A RESILIENT TOMORROW: DOST-PAGASA AT NCRF 2026
Highlighting its ongoing commitment to building a climate-resilient Philippines, DOST-PAGASA participated in the National Climate Resilience Forum 2026, held at the SMX Convention Center Aura in Taguig City last July 23, 2026.
Climate advocates, scientists, academics, local government representatives, national agencies, and key stakeholders convened to exchange best practices and share scalable solutions through panel discussions and exhibits.
Assistant Weather Services Chief Ms. Jorybell A. Masallo joined a panel discussion on "Science to Action for Climate-Resilient Local Governments," emphasizing the critical role of climate data and projections in local policy-making and adaptation planning.
Additionally, DOST-PAGASA highlighted key initiatives such as CliMap V2.0 and the PANaHON platform during the exhibit. These platforms serve as vital tools for the public, local government units, and key decision-makers to access climate data and real-time weather information.
