EYES IN SPACE: Navigating tomorrow's weather and climate
As part of the annual observance of promoting space science and technology, DOST-PAGASA joined the Philippine Space Agency in the Philippine Space Week Exhibition held at the Quantum Skyview, Gateway Mall 2, Araneta City, Quezon City on August 09, 2026.
Showcased in the exhibit is the PAGASA National Hydrometeorological Observation Network or PANaHON platform, which provides easy-access to satellite data that strengthen weather forecasting, climate monitoring, and disaster preparedness, vital in protecting lives, livelihoods, and properties.
The event is in line with Proclamation No. 302 (s. 2023), which declares the annual celebration of Philippine Space Week from August 08–14, 2026. This nationwide observance aims to promote space science awareness and recent innovations on space science and technology applications (SSTA).
