Ease in Service: DOST-PAGASA joins celebration of Ease of Doing Business Month
In line with ensuring the government's commitment to the efficiency, transparency and accountability in public service, the DOST-PAGASA joins the celebration of the Ease of Doing Business (EODB) Month this May with the theme "Achieving Results through Transparency and Accountability (ARTA): Towards a More Productive Bagong Pilipinas."
DOST-PAGASA Administrator Dr. Nathaniel T. Servando highlighted the key initiatives aimed at making services more accessible and efficient in accordance with the Republic Act 11032 during the flag raising ceremony on May 4, 2026.
-Enhancement of the PAGASA Citizen’s Charter, an expanded and clearer guidelines for both the external and internal services, provided in its 5th edition, promoting greater transparency and accountability.
-Requests for weather certifications and climate data were made available online with a more accessible and secured online payment option through LANDBANK Link.BizPortal to minimize the need for in-person transactions.
-The Unified Learning Advancement Platform (ULAP) is where meteorological, climatological, and hydrological training programs are digitalized, promoting distance learning and development.
-Easier access to pertinent documents from the Records Management Section of the agency with the launch of PAGASA e-Records portal.
These initiatives reflect DOST-PAGASA’s continued commitment to delivering responsive, modern, and citizen-centered services to make every transaction simpler, faster, and more transparent.
