DOST-PAGASA Spokespersons & Technical Personnel Gear Up for Effective Communication!
DOST-PAGASA held the Basic Broadcasting Seminar-Workshop at Subic Bay, Zambales. The four-day event featured lectures on Broadcasting 101 and hands-on sessions creative reporting, and an opportunity to present and critique outputs in the workshop.
With expert guidance from Mr. George Vincent Gamayo, a media specialist and Professor in PUP-Department of Broadcast Communication, this activity provided partcipants an avenue for them to enhance their communication skills, to effectively convey weather and climate information to the public. This initiative highlights DOST-PAGASA’s continuing efforts to improve public service delivery through effective risk communication and capacity building.
